Revelstoke Community Forest Corporation (RCFC)
Forsite completed the timber supply modeling necessary to provide the BC Chief Forester with information to set an Annual Allowable Cut (AAC) for TFL 56.
An assessment of the sustainable timber harvesting levels for the Tree Farm License - subject to management for a wide range of other values – was needed to set an Annual Allowable Cut for the Tree Farm License.
Patchworks was used to model growth and harvesting consistent with current forest practices on the Tree Farm License for a periods of 300 years. This allowed the new Annual Allowable Cut to be set.
The AAC for the TFL was set at 90,000 m3/year.
