Technologies

Satellite imagery, field verification of timber quality and accessibility, field layout of block boundaries and riparian areas.

Using a custom operating plan template and GIS mapping applications, Forsite provides quality documentation and maps for approval by the Ministry of Environment Forest Service.

Since Saskatchewan legislation requires Operating Plans to be developed by a Registered Professional Forester (RPF or RPFT), Forsite’s experienced drafting operating plans and navigating the approval process allows independent operators to focus on their core business of timber manufacturing and processing.

Forsite manages the stakeholder engagement process by communicating the operating plan details with trappers, outfitters, and other identified non-timber forest users.
