Client provided 4-band imagery of all recent annual harvesting, buncher GPS tracks, and planned boundaries and roads. Forsite’s professional staff delineated actual internal (retention patches) and external boundaries and in-block road crossings for 651 harvested areas totaling approximately 10,000 hectares. Forest inventory interpreted label was assigned to each retention patch along with an estimated stand volume.
Final deliverable provides basis for official activity record within Alberta’s information system plus allows the client to document within operational plans and sustainable forest management annual reporting.
