Project companies requested Forsite to assign next density ratings to forest polygons across all forest management agreement areas in Alberta. The basis for this project was a composite AVI layer from Alberta for the project area plus a nest density matrix provided by the clients. Nest density ratings were assigned to forested polygons based on GIS analysis and published in geodatabase format for clients to use within their GIS systems and were published within a password protected webmap hosted by Forsite. Clients received a final report, company specific geodatabases, access to password protected webmap, plus webinars in the use of the webmap.
