Ontario’s Forest Management Planning process supports the development of a 20-year Forest Management Plan that establishes the strategic direction of forest management for a defined forest area. Forsite facilitated the participation of licensees and government in the preparation of plan inputs, assumptions, and completed forest estate modelling and documentation in accordance with Ontario’s Forest Management Plan standard for several Ontario forests. Forsite’s expertise in modeling of forest management processes and knowledge of the Patchworks model were key to successfully completing these projects for our Ontario clients.
