Our service offering in Atlantic Canada is expanding. Contact Murray Ward or Maurice LeBlanc for more information about our local team.
Forsite currently has over 23,000 hectares of forest land under direct management in the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Ownership size ranges from as little as 200 hectares to as large as 15,000 hectares. This forest landbase is as unique as the clients we serve with a wide range of species known as the Acadian Forest. This forest type has primarily commercial species ranging from conifers for standard lumber manufacturing and the prized northern hardwoods for fine veneers and furniture grade lumber. In general, many of the lands under management have been degraded over the years and Forsite with its clients are implementing forest treatments to restore these forests by promoting long-lived and more valuable species by favoring alternate treatments to clearcutting.
We work with great people across Canada.
Forsite’s geographic diversity and size provides economies of scale to deliver quality, timely and cost effective forest management services throughout Canada.
