January 23, 2023 - Frontline Operations Group to join Forsite
Woodco was incorporated in 2003 with a focus on the acquisition, sorting and merchandising of log products. The business has evolved and grown since that time and we have added milling and manufacturing of mat and bridge products. Our facilities are located in Barriere, BC – 45 minutes north of Kamloops. Woodco harvests and/or purchases 60,000m3 of logs per year, generates 9 million fbm of timber and lumber products and produces 4000 units of various timber mats and bridge components. Woodco works with major forest companies and First Nations and government to secure log supply and ensure a consistent supply of wood products to an ever growing list of satisfied customers. Woodco's focus is to get the right product to the right customer at the right time.
Vivid Solutions Inc. is located in Victoria, British Columbia and specializes in .NET and Java development solutions. Vivid also has specialized skills in GML and Geo Spatial development and has been providing software development services since 1996. Forsite has partnered with Vivid to create the only stand-alone application to support electronic submissions of spatial and attribute information to the government of BC

Ember Research Services Ltd. was established in 1994 to provide Wildland fire management services to government and private sector clients. Ember’s staff have over 60 years of combined experience in the fire management field. Services offered include: Wildfire Growth Modeling, Fire Weather Forecasting, Wildfire Incident Support, Wildfire Risk Assessments and Exposure Analysis, Wildfire Management Plans, Development of Wildfire Decision Support Systems, Wildfire Behaviour Reviews, Wildfire Origin and Cause Investigations, Expert Reports and Testimony, Training and Technology Transfer.
Forsite is committed to providing a safe work environment for our staff. Forsite has been SAFE certified with the BC Forest Safety Council since 2007, COR safety certified by the Alberta Government in partnership with the Alberta Safety Council since 2018, and COR certified with the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association since 2021.
This process includes development of a full corporate safety plan, assessments of workplace hazards, and development of related procedures. Employees are empowered to manage their safety situation, reporting any safety concerns to their manager and the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee for immediate attention. Safety concerns, near misses or incidents are tracked and managed to ensure resolution and an overall reduction in safety challenges.
