PacFor Timber Ltd. (PacFor) is a joint venture timber management company between Forsite Consultants Ltd and Pacific Bioenergy Corporation. Located in the heart of the Pacific Northwestern region of British Columbia, PacFor has a mandate to market log products to optimize fiber flow and maximize value.
In addition to harvesting from existing forest tenures PacFor will also look for management and purchase opportunities with First Nations, other tenure owners and BC Timber Sales to support both domestic and international log markets. PacFor has been assigned as the agent for log supply to Kitwanga Lumber Company Ltd.
PacFor is responsible for the management and harvesting of 154,366 cubic meters per year from 3 forest tenures in the Kispiox TSA. In addition to planning and harvesting PacFor will take on the responsibility for forest stewardship and reforestation associated with the forest tenure obligations.
